Going into the business of selling information products gives you a more choices than you might first think. People learn differently and it pays you to consider that information products can be offered in different formats.

Some people read some prefer to listen, others to watch. Here is a list of a few different ways that you can package information products:-

  • Newsletters, every two weeks or monthly.
  • CD’s. If you have a good voice you can produce your own recordings of what you’ve written very inexpensively.
  • DVD’s. If you clean up nice in addition to being able to speak in a pleasant voice, you can produce movies very inexpensively.

And there are other methods available to you but, you get the idea.

It used to cost huge amounts of money to produce audio and video recordings but the web has made it possible for any of us to make our own recordings for a very small outlay of money.

I know; here’s another thing to add to a pile of jobs that already threatens to overwhelm you but, the internet connects you with a whole bunch of people that are willing to take on almost any job you need to have done in your business, people with experience and an eagerness to perform for you. At this early stage, don’t worry about how you will get things done, instead, be aware of all the possibilities available to you to get things done.

You could be in the position of creating any one or all of these products on your home computer and only in quantities dictated by the number of your subscribers or the quantity of orders you receive. Once you have created the original text, audio or video product, you only make as many copies as you need on a daily or weekly basis. No surplus inventory to worry about.

I’ll continue with more on info-products tomorrow.
